Dr. Swati Gupta

Dr. Swati Gupta of Howell Family Smiles brings a wealth of experience, skill, and compassion to every patient she serves. Raised in India, she began her dental career there, gaining extensive hands-on experience in a fast-paced clinical environment. After moving to the United States, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2002. Since then, she has been proudly caring for patients throughout Central New Jersey.

Dr. Gupta is passionate about making high-quality, patient-centered dental care accessible to all. She is known for her gentle approach and dedication to patient comfort, and she continually pursues advanced education to stay current with the latest techniques and innovations in dentistry. Her goal is to ensure every visit is as effective, comfortable, and stress-free as possible.

With a growing interest in whole-body health, Dr. Gupta has developed a focus on dental sleep medicine and is currently working toward her diploma from the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM). This additional training allows her to better support patients dealing with sleep-related breathing disorders and improve their overall well-being.

She is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA), and the Monmouth County Dental Society, reflecting her commitment to professional excellence and ongoing growth.

Outside the office, Dr. Gupta enjoys a full and rewarding family life with her husband and their three college-aged children. In her free time, she loves reading, cooking, and embroidery. Patients may also be greeted by Bailey, her friendly 6-year-old Shih Tzu, who occasionally visits the office and is always happy to accept a few extra belly rubs.
